Before passing away in 2025, President Holland had given nearly 70 talks in general conference, including “An High Priest of Good Things to Come” and “Broken Things to Mend.” Holland was also noteworthy for passionate BYU devotionals such as “Cast Not Away Therefore Your Confidence,” as well as his testimony of Christ shared in numerous books, firesides, and devotionals. President Holland’s General Conference Talks

Jeffrey R. Holland has given dozens of talks in the general conference since he first spoke in 1983. Some of his notable talks include “Lord, I Believe,” “None Were With Him,” and “Waiting on the Lord.” After a gap in general conference talks due to health, President Holland edified church members by returning with his April 2024 talk, “Motions of a Hidden Fire,” and gave three additional discourses before passing away on December 27, 2025, at the age of 85.
